It is amazing how some things can be both a blessing and yet a curse at the same time. Computer technology is one. It has evolved to the point that just about everything we do is influenced by the computer. Whether it is communications, health related, research and development, statistical, organizational, educational, scientific or too simply to share one’s opinion the computer now has more power than anything on this earth. What we once shared with our family, friends, coworkers and friends is now blasted to the entire world by the simply push of a key. It is because of this I speak of the curse. The curse of reckless people who without passion or thought blast harmful rants or personal opinions to the world. These selfish people do not consider the financial, mental or physical impact their actions have. With exception to a few, these are usually the people who are first to complain, the first to point fingers and the last to actually take action and make a difference. You are the cowards that hold the signs in protest while others put their lives on the line to protect your right to protest.
My personal opinion of the LOAN GUY is that of content. Those I have sent his way have all been pleased and those he has sent to me hold him in high regard. Mr. Frey not only appears to have my back but I have his. If you are one of the few who are complaining then maybe you are more the problem than he.

We were purchasing a (approved) short sale in Oakley and needed the purchase turned around quick. My wife and I went in to meet with Trevor on a Monday and he sent us home with a very specific list of paperwork we needed to gather. We organized all our paperwork in PDF’s and emailed it over to Trevor on Tuesday. By mid-day Wednesday we had our approval letter which we then submitted our offer on the house and closed within 15 days.
Trevor was very responsive and even called us after we closed to see how we were doing. He’s very personable and explained everything in logical, easy to understand, terms. I would definitely recommend Trevor to anyone in the Brentwood/Oakley area.

I’m writing to let it be known that my husband and I just finished purchasing our first home together. We worked with Trevor Frey with Pacific Funding Group. I totally and 100% agree with the previous review. We had had a difficult financial situation and afraid we weren’t going to be able to purchase a home. Trevor was very certain that he would do all that he can to make sure it would happen. Between our realtor and Trevor, it was hard not to believe that we were going to be able to purchase. trevor was on the ball from start to finish. Contacted us continuously with status updates, got us an AMAZING low interest rate which fit our income perfectly, comfortable monthly payment, and peace of mind.
We are finally able to come “home” thanks to Trevor. I would definitely say that if you are looking to purchase a home, even if you have doubts about the financial aspect of it, just make a call to him and you too will feel the same comfort we did.
You’re in good hands! 😉

I purchased a home last year with Pacific Funding Group and Trevor. I was a first time home buyer and it was the most stressful event that I had ever experienced. Among my fear of going through the process, I could not have had a more fantastic loan officer to help me through it. Trevor was very communicative, understanding of my financial situation, diligent and most importantly HELPFUL! Any questions I had or information needed he was available 24/7. I have been in my home for a little over a year now and I have not had one problem with my payments, the interest rate promised, etc. Trevor made it run so smoothly and made “getting a loan” easy and fun!
I was recommended to Trevor by TWO of my girlfriends and their families are just as happy and pleased as I am. I would recommend anyone and everyone to work with Trevor if you are looking for the BEST!

I have worked on several loans with Kevin Brown with Pacific Funding Group and I find him to be very professional and knowledgeable of the industry with well over 20 years of experience. I never had to worry about anything knowing he was there for me, but even more importantly I enjoyed his personality and I consider him a very good friend that I would recommend to any of my family and friends.

I just have to commend Pacific Funding Group on the great job they did on my refinance.
As a self employed person, my tax returns never truly show my income. I shopped at Bank of America and they told me (after 3 weeks) that they couldn’t help me. I tried again with Chase (where I have my business account) and got the same results (only it took them 10 minutes to say no).
I almost gave up and then a student of mine told me to call Kevin at Pacific Funding. Well, after an hour of speaking with Kevin, he had a game plan, I sent his over my Tax Records and Bank Statements and signed the upfront disclosures.
A few days later I had the appraiser some and completely review my home. Kevin called to say the title work was done that same afternoon.
I had to write a letter explaining a few business items, but ultimately they were able to close my loan in just 3 weeks (Bank of America took this long just to say no)!
1f that wasn’t enough, they also got me a lower interest rate than the big banks and the closing costs were very reasonable.
I’ve continued to “pay it forward” and have referred them to my sister and one of my clients.
Thanks again! Great work!

My wife and I have been working with Kevin Brown at Pacific Funding Group for over 12 years.
He has helped us with several refinances over the years, and has also helped several of my friends. I am always reluctant to refer to friends for fear of the possibility of a poor experience. Not with Kevin.
His communication and attention to detail are unparalleled as is his knowledge of the mortgage industry.
Good bet here.

Those guys are great! My husband and myself purchased a house with their help in August of 2010! I do not wish to get into more details but we had tried to go with Bank of America and they messed us up sooo bad that we thought that nobody could save they deal! Well,… Pacific Funding Group made it happen in 3 weeks!!!!
That’s right! From the initial phone call to closing it was only 3 weeks!
I am definitely going back to them and I am happy to refer people cause I know that if someone can do it that would be them!Tanya M. Concord, CA
My wife and I do not possess common culture credit characteristics. The good news is that we generate annual household revenues of approximately $600,000, have a net worth in excess of $10 million, have credit scores in the range of 790-810, and only wished to refinance $700,000 (28%) of our $2,500,000 home to take advantage of current lower interest rates. The bad news is that I’m 70 years old, retired, with a wife who gets paid $420,000 once a year from a company I own. The pension plan I live on is one I created, fund and administer.
Considering all our sources and uses of money, it is virtually impossible for an underwriter to obtain independent verification of our income beyond looking at our tax returns, K-1s, 1098s and 1099s. I applied through four lenders to refinance our home, one of which was ETRADE, the holder of the current mortgage. By the time I was done I had scanned and delivered over 150 financial documents and invested over 430 days (that’s over a year, folks) attempting to secure a new loan.
During the last 50+ days of this ordeal, Eric Geli of Pacific Funding Group (PFG) jumped into the fray. We agreed on 22 documents he needed to get a loan approved. Although he ultimately came back for 19 more documents, it was still considerably less than the 100+ that had been demanded by the other three lenders. Eric told me he would have the loan funded in 30 days. He lied. It took him a tad longer than 50 days. But considering our weird financial situation, the current turmoil going on in the banking industry, and the fact that the other three lenders had been screwing around for well over 400 days, Eric’s performance felt like the speed of light. In the end, we got a 15-year, $700,000 loan at 4.25% fixed with no points.
No other prospective lender was quoting terms better than what we got from Pacific Funding. Additionally, no other individual with whom I interacted was more knowledgeable or responsive than Eric. My wife and I are currently in the process of initiating the refinance of two other properties through PFG using Eric. We look forward to similar good results.

I just completed a loan transaction with Pacific Funding Group. The Loan Team, Robert and Annie, did a fantastic job of helping me navigate through the new and complex rules for a home loan. Above all, their loan rates were highly competitive. I received numerous compliments on my loan rate. Thanks Robert and Annie!

Pacific Funding Group get 5 stars from me because they are about getting your transaction closed. I have worked with Eric Geli on numerous transactions, he has closed FHA loans in less than 30 days. I have also found them to be more lenient than other companies. If you want to close give Eric Geli a call.
